Family Solicitor - 3-3 yrs PQE

The Opportunity;
Slater and Gordon wish to appoint an experienced Solicitor who will be responsible for all aspects of Family work. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious lawyer to join a wider team that are experts in every aspect of Family law, specialists within individual practice areas and Lawyers that are nationally recognised as leaders in their fields.

Responsibilities of the role;
* Maintain a caseload and oversee the file management of complex business cases
* Provide the highest level of client care, advice and representation to our clients
* Build relationships with internal and external parties
* Ensuring that files are managed effectively and that set deadlines are met
* Participate with other senior fee earners in marketing activities including networking and regional business development initiatives to help build the practice profile and attract new business.
* Actively role modelling our values of 'Do it Right', 'Take the Lead' and 'Work Well with Others'.

What we are looking for;
* As well as possessing experience in a similar role, applicants should be able to demonstrate an in-depth understanding of the Family law market.
* Ideally you will be between 3 and 5 years PQE and possess excellent commercial awareness
* In terms of the key competencies that are required in this role, we are looking for someone who is proactive and who has the ability to organise and prioritise their workload effectively
* Finally, you must have excellent communication skills and the ability to build and maintain good working relationships.
