Company Secretarial Assistant Job with FTSE 100 in Central London

This organisation is a multinational FTSE 100 business based in central London that operates in the commerce and industry sector. With operations in over 35 countries, the customer reach is extensive and the company has been building this operations over a long period of time.
Your new role
This job sits in a small secretariat of 4 people, which ensured that the business meets its obligations in relation to governance, compliance, shareholders and share plan participants and supports the effective functioning of the Boards and their Committees.The team's goal is to support the Company Secretariat team in delivering a high quality of corporate governance and compliance administration across all aspects of the departments work, with a particular focus on the maintenance of accurate statutory records and timely filing of returns and release of regulatory announcements.
Key responsibilities are: subsidiary compliance incl. filing confirmation statements and maintaining statutory records; governance arrangements relation to banking operations and delegated authority; reconcile share capital records and releasing RNS announcements; planning and preparation of board and nomination committee meetings, including preparing agendas and minutes; assisting with the AGM and Annual Report. The role will also provide some support to the Group Employment Lawyer.
What you'll need to succeed
In order to be considered for this role you will need a minimum of 1-2 years of Company Secretarial experience, ideally gained in a FTSE listed company or within a professional services provider who supports PLC companies. You will have working knowledge of legal, regulatory and corporate governance frameworks applying to listed companies. You will ideally be in process of completing or have already completed your CSQS to become an ICSA qualified Company Secretary. As an individual, you will be hard-working and inquisitive and have excellent attention to detail.
