A Property Development Solicitor with c. 1-4 years' PQE is sought for an in-house role in Cheshire. This is a rare and exciting opportunity for a land acquisition and development lawyer to make a move into industry in the North-West.
Our Cheshire based client seeks to recruit a Property Development Solicitor to provide assistance, support and advice in connection with Development and Land Acquisition matters.
The role reports into the Legal Director and the Property Development Solicitor will work alongside the Legal Director and Senior Solicitor to carry out new instructions, progress all necessary legal agreements and generally help to progress the acquisition of sites for development.
Specifically, the Property Development Solicitor will handle matters to include: Management Agreements and Transfers; site setups; Affordable Housing sales and disposals; Section 106 Agreements; Highways Act Agreements (38,278); Transfer of Lease matters; Monthly Reports; Liaising with the NHBC; assisting with site set-up documents; collating, reporting and managing relevant documentation; assisting with appropriate correspondence; and ensure compliance with company policies, procedures and instructions.
This role sits within a collegiate, supportive and commercially aware team. The Property Development Solicitor will be supporting sophisticated clients/stakeholders with high expectations and a good understanding of what legal can and should do. It is essential therefore that you can develop, manage and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external clients.
To be considered for this role, you should be a UK qualified solicitor with circa 1-4 years' PQE handling real estate / property development and land acquisition matters. You should have a genuine desire to work in-house and be comfortable working in a team environment with commercially and legally savvy clients.
