Our client, a reputable financial services institution is recruiting a Lawyer / Legal Counsel on an interim basis ASAP for a rolling contract. The Lawyer / Legal Counsel will report to the senior legal counsel and assisting the legal team and the wider business.
The Lawyer / Legal Counsel primary responsibilities will include:
- Reviewing, drafting and negotiating specialist contracts including market standard documentation for the repo and securities lending market such as the OSLA, GMRA and GMSLA.
- Reviewing, drafting and negotiating other forms of contracts and commercial documentation including bespoke agency lending agreements, client terms of business, confidentiality agreements, engagement letters, fund distribution agreements, EMTN programme updates, IT agreements, etc
- Liaise with external counsel, lawyer / legal Counsel
The Candidate:
The successful candidate will be 3 years + PQE* Lawyer / Legal Counsel with experience gained either in-house and in private practice.
*Candidates outside of this bracket will be considered if they are able to demonstrate the prerequisite experience required.
