My client is a well-known fitness and healthcare brand, on a mission to help the UK get healthy and stay that way. Their fun and dynamic offices are based in Epsom, and their small legal team is integral to their strategic development.
Description
Key responsibilities:
- overseeing, drafting and negotiating commercial contracts
- reviewing terms and conditions
- informing policies, procedures and training
- maintaining knowledge of data protection updates
- maintaining internal precedents
- rolling out compliance training to the wider business
- assisting the General Counsel with transnational projects
- working closely with stakeholders on new marketing projects
- working with and supervising input from external counsel
- ensuring the appropriate records of all commercial arrangements are kept up to date
Profile
The successful candidate will be a UK qualified, mid-level (ideally between 3-5 PQE - although all candidates with relevant experience will be considered) commercial lawyer, with training from a reputable firm or company and experience in contracts, compliance and some knowledge of the healthcare sector.
The ideal candidate will be entrepreneurial, a team player, and ambitious. Confidence with stakeholders and a good degree of judgement on commercial expertise is essential.
IP and data protection knowledge is desirable.
Job Offer
£65,000-75,000 basic salary plus excellent benefits
