The Role
A rare opportunity has now arisen for a dynamic Corporate Commercial Solicitor to join a highly regarded team based in Southampton. Working alongside experienced Fee Earners including one of the Practice Partners, the successful Solicitor will manage a complex and challenging caseload, advising public and private companies on: mergers and acquisitions; commercial contracts; MBOs; MBIs; joint ventures; share purchases and; investment agreements. Due to the diverse client base which this department acts for, experience acting for clients in the technology industry will be essential.
Keen to get involved with business development and marketing, the successful Solicitor will immerse themselves within initiatives, promoting the departmental services and developing strong client relationships. The Candidate
You must be a qualified Solicitor with 3-7 years’ PQE;
You will be technically competent with solid experience in mergers and acquisitions;
You will have outstanding communication skills and a client-focused approach;
You must have previous experience acting for clients in the Technology sector;
You will be able to organise your workload to meet tight deadlines;
You will have a desire for professional development.
