A rare opportunity for an LAA Level 3 accredited Advanced Immigration Lawyer to join a specialist team in South West London.

The Role
We are now seeking an additional Lawyer with IAAS / LAA Level 3 accreditation and strong Legal Aid experience to join our clients’ thriving practice in London. The caseload will include asylum applications, appeals, PBS applications, judicial reviews, unaccompanied minors, appeals and trafficking matters. The ideal Lawyer will be fully conversant with LAA requirements and be able to undertake advocacy where necessary at all levels. Additional supervisory responsibilities and involvement in business development are essential for the position.

The Candidate
You must be a qualified Solicitor or Legal Executive with solid experience gained within a reputable Immigration department.
You must also possess the LAA / IAAS Level 3 Advanced Immigration accreditation.
You will have excellent technical skills with a good working knowledge of legal aid processes and expertise in privately-funded work.
You will be client-focused with excellent interpersonal skills across all levels.
Fluency in a second language is desirable.
You will be able to supervise and assist junior members of the department.
