Immigration Paralegal with top City Law Firm, Corporate, Permanent, London, £28,500

Your new company
This top city law firm based in central London is internationally recognised for its work in the legal field. Its leading immigration team is looking for a paralegal to join them on a permanent basis, to offer business immigration advice to the firm's clients.

Your new role
You will be working in a client facing role, supported by highly ranked lawyers, advising on a range of complex applications. Your duties will include: liaising closely with senior fee earners, managing client expectations, and advising clients on a variety of immigration applications relating to business immigration law. You will also conduct research, organise and track cases and files, complete application forms, letters and emails for fee earner review and submission, and proof read forms and documents. You will liaise with the UK VI for guidance on complex scenarios.

What you'll need to succeed
You have achieved minimum 2.1 in your LLB, and have ideally 12 months prior experience working as a paralegal in an immigration department. You will have been exposed to the following: Tier 2, Indefinite Leave to Remain, European Applications, Nationality, and Licensing employers as sponsors under the Points Based System. You will have excellent client facing skills, and be dedicated to providing an excellent client service. You will also have experience dealing with and managing large quantities of documentation.
