Out client, a leading US law firm, are seeking a commercial litigator to join their busy practice.
Candidates will have experience of the following:
- Previous experience within commercial litigation; including the day to day running of cases and contributing to decision making
- In-depth knowledge of CPR and experience in key stages of litigation, including disclosure.
The role will involve:
- Actively working on a portfolio of cases within the financial services practice, including the day-to-day running of cases.
- Dealing with pre-litigation claims, including preparing claim forms and particulars and engaging in pre-action protocol correspondence and dialogues.
- Managing large scale disclosure exercises;
- Contributing to settlement negotiations.
