Are you approaching qualification in Summer 2017 and concerned about the lack external opportunities in the market? The Midlands market is extremely buoyant at NQ level and we have already helped a number of national and international law firms secure September qualifiers to join their Real Estate teams.

In particular, we're working with an international Birmingham firm who are interested in hearing from candidates who might want to relocate to the region. You wouldn't be compromising on quality of work here - the team acts for international and national clients, rather than specifically local work. A lot of London work is streaming through to the regions as clients continue to keep an eye on costs.

This team has a huge national presence, with hundreds of lawyers in their national Real Estate team. You would be part of the national team, specifically based in Birmingham.

The work spans across general Real Estate work (landlord and tenant, portfolio review work etc) and commercial development/investment.

This firm is ready to interview now - so you could have your NQ position wrapped up very shortly without the nervous rate for other external jobs to trickle (or not trickle) out.

Profile

Ideally you would have completed 6 months' in your training contract in Real Estate, either at a national, regional or a smaller firm. The firm is more interested in the potential of the candidate rather than the firm they have trained at. Excellent academics (2:1 plus strong A Levels are a must).

A connection to the Midlands would also be desirable.
