Our client, an excellent and highly regarded international City law firm is urgently seeking a commercial IP/IT Lawyer for at least 3 months, possibly longer.
The successful individual will be a general commercial lawyer with knowledge of drafting commercial agreements, such as agency agreements, supply and distribution agreements, outsourcing agreements, and R&D agreements.
The individual should ideally also have experience in data protection and privacy work, such as drafting, reviewing and advising on privacy policies and advising on the applicability of the principles in the UK Data Protection Act and the forthcoming GDPR to commercial situations; and intellectual property, such as the drafting and negotiation of IP licences and assignments. Recent experience gained in private practice at a Top 200 or at an international City law firm would be a distinct advantage. Individuals that are qualified in common law jurisdictions with experience gained from a top law firm are welcome to apply.
