A top Insurance Firm is looking for an Interim HR Officer to join their team. The role offers a good level of client exposure and enables the job holder to add real value.
Operational HR support
- Providing advice to employees and managers on routine employee relations matters such as performance and capability, absence, disciplinary and grievance, changes to terms and conditions of employment, probation reviews and flexible working applications.
- Handling maternity, paternity, shared parental leave and adoption leavers and returners.
- Participating in the smooth running of the annual performance and salary and bonus review.
- To lead or assist with ad hoc project work.
HR processes and practices
- To take ownership for the end-to-end operational process to support key HR activities (e.g. secondments). Optimising the efficiency and effectiveness of the process
- To contribute and take ownership of the ongoing review of all HR operational processes. Maintaining an overview of all processes, prioritising areas for improvement.
Skills and Experience Required
- Previous HR experience is essential
- Ability to demonstrate knowledge and awareness of operating within a HR Business Partner environment or generalist HR function.
- Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills.
- Working knowledge and understanding of employment law, policies and procedures.
- With guidance from HRBPs, ability to identify appropriate actions to resolve issues using well-defined policies and procedures.
- Ability to plan, schedule and arrange own activities to accomplish objectives.
