Funds Lawyer

Our client, an Investment Manager, is looking for a Funds Lawyer to join their team for a 12 month contract.

You will enjoy a broad role with responsibilities that include the following:

• Negotiating IMAs, transition management agreements and other related contracts with large institutional clients.
• Negotiating services agreements and other commercial contracts,
• Liaising with clients queries in relation to claims such as death in service.
• Advising all departments in relation to legal risk
• Assisting with project work depending on the business needs
• Advising the business in relation to derivatives documentation such as ISDAs GMRAs and CSAs
• Knowledge of regulatory changes such as MiFID and GDPR

The ideal candidate will be:

• a qualified lawyer (2-4 years PQE*) who is currently working either in-house lawyer within a financial services.
• OR a private practice lawyer with a commercial, corporate or pensions background.

*This is a guideline, candidates outside this remit will still be considered for this role.
