Personal Injury Paralegal - An innovative and expanding firm is looking to recruit an ambitious personal injury paralegal looking to develop their skills. The role will see you joining the firm on a long term fixed term contract, handling good quality personal injury work. You will have your own caseload, as well as assessing the risks of cases, drafting correspondence, and obtaining initial instructions from clients. The firm offers an extremely attractive bonus scheme, making this ideal if you're available on short notice and looking for a well-paid position.
The Role
- Handling a broad caseload of personal injury files, including stages 1, 2 and 3.
- Day to day, you will be assessing the risks of cases, specifically looking at liability, causation, and credibility, as well as inputting new cases on to the case management system, drafting correspondence, and obtaining initial instructions.
- Long term contract, covering maternity leave.
- To start Mid-June 2017.
The Candidate
- The ideal candidate will have a strong background working in Personal Injury, with at least 18 months experience.
- You will need to have at least 18 months PI portal experience in stages 1 and 2, and any experience in stage 3 would be advantageous.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Good communication skills.
