Our client, a busy Local Authority based in London is seeking a Childcare Lawyer to join them for an initial three month locum assignment starting in July.
The successful candidate will join an established team and carry a full and varied caseload of up to 10 matters in proceedings and a smaller PLO caseload.
Additionally, the successful Childcare Lawyer will be responsible for dealing with PLOs, IRHs, CMCs and Direction Hearings. Due to the nature of the role, our client is particularly keen to hear from candidates with a Local Authority background, although those from alternative backgrounds with the relevant experience are encouraged to apply. Due to the nature of the role and the expectation for the candidate to hit the ground running, it is important you have previously held a public childcare caseload and can work autonomously with little supervision.
The council is based a short walk from the nearest tube station and offers an array of shops and restaurants in the local vicinity.
