Motor Paralegal - Newport

Opportunity for a Motor Paralegal to join a leading international firm.

Our client is looking for a Motor Paralegal to join its Claims Solutions Group. This leading international firm has offices across the UK, Europe, Asia Pacific and Latin America. Their Claims Solutions Group advises insurers, self insured and corporate clients in their defence of claims relating to fatal accidents, catastrophic injuries, rehabilitation, employer liability, product liability, sports injuries, aviation injuries, occupational stress, repetitive strain, occupational cancers, new diseases, noise- induced hearing loss, safety, health and environment and severe road traffic accidents.

The successful candidate will be expected to handler their own caseload of litigated claims, including MOJ, Small Claims Track and Fast Track matters from inception to conclusion for a variety of leading Motor Insurers. The role will be varied and will involve analysing evidence and setting case strategies, obtaining and drafting pleadings, witness statements and letters of response, conducting negotiation of claims, preparing detailed counter schedules, etc.

To be considered for this role, you must have previous experience of dealing with Personal Injury claims. You must also have excellent commercial awareness.
