Global organisation with an excellent track record of providing high quality technology and engineering solutions across a range of sectors. A 12 month fixed term contract vacancy has arisen in Crewe, to provide maternity cover for a busy commercial contracts team.
Your new role
You will join a busy environment and will be responsible for drafting, negotiating and reviewing a range of commercial contracts as well as supporting the business with bids for new business and the tender process. You will provide advice to the UK business whilst working closely with the Head of Commercial Contracts, gaining excellent exposure to commercial agreements.
What you'll need to succeed
You must have a strong appreciation for contract law with a good legal understanding, either from previous experience in a contracts role in-house, commercial paralegal work in private practice or from a recent LPC or law degree. You will have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to influence and challenge where necessary. Future trainee solicitors looking for a minimum 12 month fixed term contract before commencing their training contract will also be considered.
