Legal Counsel

A well-known payments company is currently looking for a Commercial Lawyer to join the team on an interim basis for up to 6 months. The role will based within the Commercial and Corporate Legal team focussing on a range of matters including Data Protection, Intellectual property and broad Commercial work. Responsibilities of the role are likely to entail;

• Drafting and negotiating a wide range of commercial agreements such as licensing, product development and supplier agreements
• Providing legal advice to the wider business where required
• Liaising with and managing external counsel where necessary
• Providing relevant legal and policies training within the business

The successful candidate is likely to be able to demonstrate a wide range of commercial contracts experience and knowledge of the payments industry. Previous experience within an in-house environment will be advantageous.
