In House Commercial Contracts Paralegal

Manchester based professional services company seeks Commercial Contracts Paralegal to join its growing legal / contract team. Applicants for the role must have at least one years' commercial contracts drafting experience.

Our client is a growing and expanding professional services organisation with operations and offices worldwide. It employs almost 1000 people and has legal staff located in multiple locations across the UK and abroad.

To help support it business in Europe, our client seeks to recruit a Commercial Contracts Paralegal / Contracts Manager on a permanent basis. The role is primarily focused on commercial contracts however ad hoc legal and regulatory work is also expected. The role is based in Manchester. The reports into the Group Contracts Executive and Legal Counsel, and sits alongside another Commercial Contracts Paralegal.

Specific elements of the role include: reviewing contract terms and conditions; contract risk analysis and avoidance; drafting bespoke contracts for services; negotiating with clients; advising on bid/tender documentation; ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory guidelines; undertaking training to key stakeholders; and assisting with dispute resolution and litigation. The post-holder will deal with contracts in the UK and Europe.

Applicants applying for this position must have at least one years' commercial contracts experience, ideally gained with a leading law firm or in-house department.
