Residential Property Solicitor

Urgent requirement for a residential property locum lawyer.

A highly regarded private practice in Cambridgeshire requires the urgent assistance from a locum Residential Property Lawyer for a couple of months. This is to cover a period of permanent recruitment.

The residential property department is busy and work towards circa 5 completions each week. The solicitors within the residential property team handle matters from initial instruction through to completion – therefore experience in handling matters from beginning to end is a must.  Whilst there is limited admin support, candidates should be able to work without secretarial support.

The workload will include:

• Freehold and leasehold properties
• Acquisitions and disposals
• Transfers of equity
• Re-mortgages
• Leases

The firm do not handle shared ownership or help to buy matters.

Candidates will ideally be available immediately or at short notice and have previous experience in handling a full residential property caseload.
