Private Client Solicitor

Our client is a recognised full service law firm based in Reading. The practice is seeking to appoint a recently qualified Private Client Solicitor (NQ - 2+ years' PQE) to join the current team of 2 qualified fee earners.
 
The department is partner led and specialises in wills and tax planning, the administration of estates and trusts, powers of attorney, and court of protection work.
 
You will present with a solid training contract including a seat in private client, and some knowledge around tax and trust matters would be desirable, in addition to the appropriate maths qualification(s).  

A desire to seek your STEP qualification in the longer term is also attractive, although not essential. The firm will fund your working towards your STEP Qualification.

As a private client solicitor, you will be picking up an existing caseload of work to include:

• Wills
• Lifetime trusts and settlements
• Probate & Estate administration
• Inheritance Tax planning
• Lasting Powers of Attorney
• Court of Protection Deputyship

The ideal person for this private client solicitor position will be commercially aware, ambitious and driven, and adept at marketing & business development.
 
In return for your hard work and dedication, the firm pays a competitive salary £30,000 - £35,000 + benefits package.
