Real estate – telecoms

Lymington based

My client is looking to recruit several lawyers with experience in commercial property to join an existing legal team supporting the business based in Lymington

The new recruits could either be qualified solicitors, or could be ILEX qualified or a career paralegal. The roles would suit individuals with experience in a conventional law firm, but who would be excited by the prospect of trying something a bit different.

My client develops and owns mast infrastructure sites for mobile phone operators throughout the UK. The business is owned and financed by Goldman Sachs and UK and US based private investors. The business has a substantial and growing team of telecoms experts based in Lymington (Southampton) and a sales team operating across the UK. The company also has a successful business headquartered in Dublin, and operating throughout Ireland.

The legal team is led and managed by a former partner and Head of Telecoms at one of the worlds top 50 law firms.

The business is growing rapidly. All of the mobile operators in UK and Ireland are tenants of the business, and several are now looking to my client to help them expand their networks to accommodate new technology and to meet regulatory obligations.

My client now wish to recruit to expand their legal team with work associated with the acquisition and development of macro sites, and the management of the built estate.  There are a wide variety of landlord categories – sports clubs, & schools/academies feature quite prominently.

The successful recruits will have sound real estate skills,  experience, and will be organised, methodical, diligent, results driven and capable of showing initiative. Telecoms experience would be useful, but it is not essential, as appropriate training will be given and the successful candidates work will be supervised.
