Legacy Administration Manager

A well known charity is looking for a Legacy Administration Manager to join their Legal Team, based in West Sussex. The work is a mixture of issues on the law of Wills, Trusts, Tax, Contentious and Non Contentious Probate, Charity and Property Law - a real mix of Legacy work.

Our client is a unique animal welfare charity who have led the way by introducing a law to protect animals and they work hard to ensure all animals can live a life free from pain and suffering.

The main accountabilities will include, amongst other things, developing and managing a team of Legacy Officers, responsibility for case management (eg monitoring and reviewing case files), coach team members and set objectives, as well as manage performance, build and maintain relationships with external stakeholders and keep abreast of developments and changes to the law of Wills, Trusts, Probate, Tax, Property & Charity.

The successful candidate will be a qualified Lawyer who can demonstrate considerable experience in all of the above accountabilities. Charity Law would be a major advantage but we welcome applications from candidates who have not previously worked in the Charities sector. You will need to have excellent verbal and written communication skills, have excellent problem-solving and analytical skills and be able to work under pressure.
