Leading financial services organisation is looking to hire an additional In-House Commercial Lawyer to join their high profile legal team. This role can be based in Edinburgh or Glasgow.
Role Profile:
- The role will involve drafting and negotiating commercial contracts in addition to the management of legal risk and compliance. This will include: letters of intent, collaboration agreements, client services agreements, data provision/licence agreements.
- Advise on new business strategies or complicated client arrangements.
- Ensure compliance with legislation, regulation and the requirements of professional bodies and other organisations.
- Draft best practice guides and maintain processes, policies, guidance and templates and training/development.
Candidate Profile:
- Commercial contracts experience and circa 2-4 years PQE. Candidates in practice or in-house are invited to apply. Candidates with experience working in a FCA regulated environment would be viewed as beneficial.
- Experience in financial services, life, employee benefits or insurance would be an advantage but not essential.
- Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills.
