The Role
An excellent opportunity has now arisen within a Gravesend-based Property Litigation Department for a technically proficient Lawyer with good general property litigation experience. Joining a team of experienced lawyers, the successful Solicitor or Legal Executive will manage a busy and varied caseload, with minimal supervision. Areas may include: service charge disputes and recovery; opposed and unopposed lease renewals; boundary disputes; forfeiture; property related contractual disputes and; dilapidations. Previous experience of leasehold enfranchisement and extension proceedings, would therefore be advantageous but is not a pre-requisite for the position.
Keen to play an active role in the continued growth and development of the team, the successful Lawyer will assist with marketing, promoting the team’s services and expertise. The Candidate
You must be a qualified Solicitor or Legal Executive with a minimum of 3 years’ PQE;
You will be technically competent with solid Property Litigation experience;
Experience of leasehold enfranchisement and extension proceedings is advantageous but not essential;
You will have excellent communication skills and a client-focused approach;
You will have your own workload and be able to work with minimal supervision;
You will be proficient using practice and case management systems;
You will be a pro-active team player with a flair for marketing.
