Great opportunity for NQ or junior solicitor
THE FIRM
This smart, full-service law firm, located in London’s prestigious West End, has a particularly busy property department with a substantial clientele coming from Asia. The firm is now looking to recruit a newly-qualified or similarly junior lawyer to join the firm with a particular remit to assist the firm’s Mandarin-speaking clients.
THE ROLE
You will be working within the commercial and residential property team to assist with a busy caseload of matters relating to new build properties, landlord and tenant matters and general property litigation. You may also be called upon to assist the directors with civil litigation matters. You will need some experience in simple conveyancing processes and be able to handle your own conveyancing files. Bi-lingual fluency English/Mandarin is essential and familiarity with Chinese business culture and expectations would be a bonus. THE CANDIDATE
You will:-
Be UK-educated with a good academic background;
Have completed your LPC and be either newly-qualified or close to completing your training contract;
Be confident in handling your own caseload of basic conveyancing matters;
Speak Mandarin fluently.
