This large firm is expanding its established and successful private client department in Taunton and looking for a technically excellent private client solicitor. 
 
They advise on wills, probate, inheritance matters, tax & probate. This firm also advises many land owners and agricultural clients on APR and BPR, advising on the availability of loss on sale relief, the regular expenditure out of surplus expenditure exemption, death on active service exemption, proprietary estoppel, and constructive trusts. 
 
This can be very complex and interesting work. 
 
This role will likely suit a qualified solicitor with at least 3 years' previous private client experience.

If you are not already STEP qualified, then this firm will support you toward qualification and membership, starting asap. 
 
As a more senior member of the team this will be a natural leadership role, assisting more junior fee earners where appropriate. 
 
Although full time is preferred, this role could be offered to a private client solicitor on a part time basis of 4 days/week, or perhaps 4 days worked over 5 shorter days.
 
This is a positive and collaborative environment in which to work. You will be supported by more senior fee earners and management, and encouraged to continue your progression as a private client specialist.
