This firm is very similar in style to a West End practice. They have an excellent client base of HNW individuals and businesses, and a growing proportion of their work has an international element; the practice rests in the affluent area of Hampstead, North London. The firm has been established 15+ years and have grown year on year and now have a head count of over 50 members of staff. The company has attracted many lawyers out of the city who are looking to deal still with a high quality of work but want better work-life balance, progression, and prospects.
A new vacancy has arisen for a Private Client Solicitor to join their flourishing Hampstead office.
The firm is dynamic, innovative, and quick to adapt to changing market trends. The team has a friendly, supportive, and progressive culture which has allowed them to have a staff retention rate of 95% in recent years.
The Private Client department currently consists of just one other senior fee earner. The firm has a very large Wills cabinet through several smaller firm buy-outs, the department is busy and that is without the firm actively marketing the service. They are looking to start marketing the department and grow the headcount. For this reason, the role comes with good prospects. You will deal with a caseload of; Wills, Estates, Trusts, Lasting powers of attorney and Court of protection work. You will deal with an affluent client base which includes HNW individuals.
This role could be an excellent stepping stone for someone looking for career progression and Partnership who may have hit a glass ceiling at their current firm.
You will be a:
- Private Client Solicitor with at least two years PQE (there is no upper limit on the amount of experience)
- Be a commercially minded lawyer, able to spot opportunities to build business
- Have broad experience of dealing with a general Private Client caseload
- Have first-class client care skills
- Salary is negotiable depending on your background, plus a lucrative bonus structure
