COMMERCIAL PROPERTY SENIOR ASSOCIATE / PARTNER - MANCHESTER
Commercial Property Senior Associate / Partner – A great opportunity has appeared at this highly regarded mid-tier corporate / commercial firm for a commercial property Senior Associate with a route through to Partnership. This proposed lateral hire has come about due to a decision to expand the commercial real estate team following a re-organisation of the department.

- Reports to: National Head of Commercial Property
- Previous Experience: Proven commercial real estate experience with a particular focus on SME businesses and owner-managed developers and property companies. The team does deals with clients of all sizes, but are particularly interested in developing a focus on the small to mid-sized developers and managers in the market. Senior Associates who are looking for a real route through to Partnership should also apply. The team will also consider junior Partners who are looking for a fresh challenge.
FOCUS ON SME CLIENTS
This is a team which handles work of all sizes including development work with the major UK developers. However, a decision has been made to generate a real focus on their SME clients and cultivate a particular niche within the wider property team to service the needs of such businesses.
Furthermore, a re-organisation within the team has meant there is now a position for an experienced Senior Associate, who has a firm eye on Partnership. The work involves the kind of mix of instructions one would expect whether it be acquisitions or disposals, landlord and tenant, development work etc.
NATURE OF EXISTING TEAM
The emerging team is driven, energetic and highly entrepreneurial. The Partner who heads up this department wants to attract equally committed and passionate individuals who may already be developing a solid footing for themselves in this market, but who may be experiencing frustration as far as progression is concerned.
AN EXCITING DEPARTURE
Although this is an established law firm with a fantastic reputation in the market, this is something of a new departure in terms of this particular team. The aim is to attract quality lawyers to help build the practice area and push things forward with a real focus on long-term client relationships.
