Our client is the leading regional law firm with great people, systems and processes.
They have a Company Commercial team in Taunton and they had originally believed they needed to recruit a junior solicitor for this team, BUT they realised that so much work is being generated in Yeovil that they really need an experienced Solicitor to develop a new team in Yeovil. Clients vary from sole traders to international companies.
At present the Employment Associate in Yeovil is wearing two hats and running Coco too, but they really need a Coco Solicitor to take that hat over.
The work does seem at present to include quite a lot of IT Contracts, so experience of IP/IT would be of great value, but not essential.
The successful candidate will have gravitas and could be a partner already, or simply a Commercial solicitor with 4+ PQE and Partnership aspirations.
Just to summarise: Or client is looking for an ambitious Company Commercial Solicitor with Partnership Aspiration. Knowledge of IT contracts desirable.
