ISDA Negotiator

One of the world's most prestigious international investment banks is looking to add to their market-leading documentation team in London and is seeking skilled ISDA negotiator who can hit the ground running in a fast-paced, challenging environment sitting as part of one of the most respected in-house legal teams in the City.

The team works closely with the legal team, supporting the business around trading documentation queries and are responsible for negotiating ISDA Master Agreement documentation, futures and prime brokerage agreements together with CSA and other ancillary documentation for a range of high-profile clients across multiple products.

To be considered for this role you should have:

• a minimum of 2 years of experience as an ISDA negotiator, working for a comparable institution in ISDA, futures and/or prime brokerage negotiation, running your own portfolio throughout the negotiation process;
• familiarity with the uncleared margin rules for OTC derivatives around variation and initial margin;
• extensive understanding of contract law, solid drafting skills, organisational skills and attention to detail;
• a strong academic record;
• good interpersonal skills and willingness to work as part of a team;
• flexibility and willingness to learn new skills and develop full job ownership.
