Litigation and Arbitration Associate - US firm

Litigation - International Arbitration - Disputes - US Firm - London - 6months - 2yrs pqe

Our client is a prestigious US firm with an outstanding international arbitration and commercial litigation practice . This dynamic global team is in growth mode and seeks a junior arbitration associate to join the office in London. The partners have experience of a wide range of high -value contentious arbitration and litigation cases often overseas including considerable experience in economic sanctions and export control; disputes arising out of investment protection treaties and project agreements; claims of expropriation and abusive regulation and international boundary dispute issues.

Candidates will need to have very strong UK academics and upto 2 years experience ( no NQs) in disputes and arbitration. Given the focus of the team and indeed the firm experience in the oil and gas sector and the mining and metals sector is desirable. Although based in London the role will involve plenty of travel overseas. This is a superb opportunity to really stand out. The cohesive London team is well established in London, they pay US rates and the London office does have a record of lawyers progressing to partnership.
