Costs Draftsman

A fantastic opportunity has come up for an experienced Costs Draftsman/Draftsperson to join a prestigious National Insurance practice, to be based in its Yorkshire office.

The role

This firm is now looking to take on an experienced costs lawyer to join a fast-paced and dynamic team, while handling a challenging caseload in Leeds.

The successful legal candidate will manage a caseload of costs matters spanning a variety of Insurance areas, from low value to complex seven-figure claims.

Applications are therefore invited from any costs draftsman or draftsperson that is sufficient and experienced in dealing with a majority of these types of files, and will feel confident enough to run a caseload on their own. Any experience of drafting bills, preparing costs budgets, drafting points of dispute, and conducting negotiations would also be beneficial.   

The candidate

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of two years’ experience, ideally from an insurance background.
