This FTSE 100 Business is looking to recruit a Senior Legal Counsel to join one its legal teams based in Surrey

Description
Reporting into the Head of the team you will be responsible for advising a number of different stakeholders on commercial matters. Work will include:
- Negotiating global framework agreements;
- Negotiating complex cross-border commercial agreements with values up to £200m;
- Drafting and negotiating IT software licences, hosting and maintenance agreements;
- Advising, negotiating and managing acquisitions (as relevant) in UK and Europe
Profile
The senior legal counsel will need to have a strong commercial skill set from a top tier law firm and ideally relevant in house experience as well.
Candidates must be able to demonstrate an ability to work autonomously and must be prepared to work on a range of matters from the everyday drafting up to complex, high value negotiation.
Job Offer
Based in Surrey, a basic salary of up to £90,000 (depending on experience) + excellent benefits package + discretionary bonus.
