Intellectual Property Paralegal

The opportunity has arisen for a Paralegal to join a City law firm within their Intellectual Property team in London.

The team prides itself on having a commercial approach to advising their clients that include many international and national household names, in order to ensure the protection of brands, ideas and commercial plans as well as guaranteeing that clients are able to exploit their IP rights wherever possible. The practice is therefore recognised for its work in the Legal 500 for the quality the service provided to clients.

In joining this highly regarded team the successful applicant will be working alongside Partners and Associates to advise a clients on a broad spectrum of matters including:

* Trade marks
* Licensing
* Distribution
* Franchising

It is therefore necessary that applicants have a minimum of six months prior experience working in the Intellectual Property team of a City law firm.

Ideal candidates will have completed the LLB or the GDL having achieved a minimum of a 2.1 and will have completed the LPC with a minimum grade of a Commendation. It would be advantageous to have an elective in Commercial and IP.
