Senior Private Client Solicitor

Thornton Legal has been instructed by one of the North West's leading Private Client law firms to recruit a Senior Private Client Solicitor to join its small but highly regarded Wealth Preservation Team in Preston.

The types of clients engaged by the department are often high net-worth, successful investors, business owners, trustees, and executors.

The firm in question is able to offer unparalleled support and client facing work as well as a generous base salary of up to £60,000 in addition to a lucrative benefits package that includes 25 days' holiday, a competitive pension, life assurance, and a private healthcare.

Private Client Solicitor with upwards of 7 years' PQE at a leading regional or boutique high street practice are urged to apply. Candidates with a proven track record of winning new work will be given preference.

You will advise mid to high-end net-worth individuals on succession planning in matters involving drafting and advising on wills, trusts, tax implication, powers of attorney, and preparing complex related documents.

This Preston-based role will involve working very closely with the Regional Head of Private Client and is an excellent hands-on role with great support and development opportunities to progress in this niche legal area.

The role itself has been created as part of a succession plan for the firm's Preston Office which will involve the eventual retirement of two of the office's more senior private client practitioners. Our client is a leading Legal 500 listed Private Client law firm and nationally recognised organisation with offices throughout the North West.

The salary for this legal job is up to £65,000, dependent upon experience and is is a full-time, permanent position.
