The Property Litigation team in Southampton provides advice on the full range of contentious property issues. Working with a nationwide team of around 40 fee earners specialising in pure contentious work, the Southampton team have a widely deserved reputation for the provision of excellent service.

This is a fantastic chance to work with my client's skilled Property Litigation Partner who has an exciting opportunity for a newly qualified lawyer to join his team in Southampton. You'll be advising clients on a wide range of substantial contentious property matters, including landlord and tenant (e.g. 1954 Act renewals, dilapidations and break notices) and general property issues such as adverse possession, easements and title disputes.

The successful candidate will be a newly qualified lawyer up to 3 PQE who's had exposure to quality litigation work during your training contract from a large regional or city firm. Just as important are excellent drafting skills, a sense of commercial pragmatism and the ability to build lasting relationships with our clients.
