Head of Department – Family

Sue Ross Legal are recruiting for a Head of Department to run and manage the Family department within the central York based office of a regional firm of Solicitors.

This role will see you providing advice and representation on a variety of family issues including financial disputes, divorce, financial remedy, injunctions and co-habitee disputes. You will also be working on Privately funded Children Act work. You will be responsible for setting and monitoring departmental targets and budgets.

To be considered for this position it is essential that you are a Member of Resolution, additionally Membership of the Collaborative Law Group would be an advantage. You should have experience of managing at a senior level and the ability to develop new business.
