Senior Business Development Manager

Full mix marketing and BD manager role for the London office of a US law firm.  The firm has a great culture and do not expect round the clock support!  The Head of the London office is fully supportive of BD and Marketing initiatives, and is keen to enlist the skills of someone that can help the further growth of the firm.

This role will be varied and will involve advising on business development activities to win new clients, how to grow revenue from existing clients, developing marketing plans and assisting with client development strategies.  From a tactical perspective, you will organise events, manage strategic partnerships, initiate and drive cross-selling activities with other offices, support on RFPs, pitches and capability statements, conduct client and market research, prepare client information packs and ensure the firm is raising its profile in relevant markets. 

The successful candidate will have prior BD/Marketing experience within the legal sector, and be able to coach and advise partners but also push back and influence where necessary.  This job will be rewarding for someone who is proactive, passionate about BD and client development, and has outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
