Commercial Litigation Solicitor

An exciting new role has arisen with a major UK law firm who are looking to recruit a Commercial Litigation Solicitor to join their Leeds City Centre office.
The firm is known for working with some of the world's most ambitious and rapidly growing businesses and has a network of offices working together as one national team, meaning there is great opportunity for development and growth with your career. The firm has an outstanding reputation and alongside being a hugely successful law firm, our client is an 'Employer of Choice'. This is an exciting time for the firm and this particular role will be to work directly with the Partner leading the department in Leeds.

The Role:
Caseload will include a very broad range of commercial litigation matters including contractual disputes, partnership disputes, professional negligence etc
The work cuts across many sectors, ranging from manufacturing and professional services right through to financial services
The role will involve working closely alongside the firm's commercial litigation partner on complex cases as well as running your own caseload, this will really enhance your development.
There will be plenty of work there on day one, however there is massive potential, alongside the partner, to develop this further and really help in the development of the team.
There will be lots of client contact, independence and autonomy, they are keen to appoint someone who wants to contribute generally, not just sit and run a caseload of work..
They are open minded as to the exact level of pqe and will adjust the support that they offer to suit your skills.

The Candidate:
Rather than being specific about the exact experience level they are happy to be quite open minded, however candidates must be confident with picking up at least some matters with limited supervision.
It would be beneficial for you to have had some experience of working on more high value complex cases from within a commercial law firm
Ideally you will have had exposure to working on cross team matters
This role would really suit someone who doesn't want a glass ceiling above them as it will allow you to work at the level that you are capable of
