Capital Markets Lawyer

A Leading Financial Services company, based in London are seeking a Capital Markets Lawyer to join their Capital Markets Team. This is a Maternity cover for a period of 6 months, and will be reporting into the Head of Master Agreements & Derivatives.

This role will be responsible for providing support to the Capital Markets Team through the negotiation of derivative documentation and other capital market documents.
Responsibilities:

*Negotiations of ISDAs, GMRAs, GMSLAs and other master documentation.
*Covering Fixed Income, FX, Equity Derivatives, Funds and other derivative transactions.
*Review and negotiate other capital market documentation, including confidentiality agreements and guarantees.
*Oversee and supervise junior lawyers when required relating to capital markets legal or regulatory projects.
*Provide general Capital Markets legal assistance, advice and support for the other members of the team.

You will be a Qualified Solicitor in England & Wales, or other common law Jurisdiction or degree in Law, with at least 3 years PQE.

You will have Capital Markets experience in a bank or law firm, and an excellent degree of understanding of ISDA. Knowledge of OTC derivatives in interest rates, fixed income and foreign exchange are essential to this role.
