Your new company
A well respected national property development and construction organisation in Hertfordshire, with over 250 staff and a strong management structure. The company is privately owned, with a well developed legal function and great levels of responsibility with the team.

Your new role
A non-contentious construction lawyer role, as part of a team of 3 lawyers. You will advise on JCT amendments, collateral warranties, general construction contracts and operations matters as well. You will advise initially on disputes as they occur, and also build relationships across the wider business. You will support sales, HR and finance teams, as well as supporting senior stakeholders and client representatives. You will provide sound commercial advice and contribute to a successful, growing company with a family atmosphere.

What you'll need to succeed
You will be a UK-qualified non-contentious construction lawyer with solid training with a reputable law firm. Relevant in-house experience would be beneficial, though you may be looking for your first move in-house. You will possess fantastic communication skills, a team mentality and excellent technical ability. You will be able to manage stakeholders, develop relationships and use your strong commercial acumen to good effect.

What you'll get in return
You will receive a very competitive salary and package, with career development prospects and a company that will hopefully match your own ambitions. The package includes car allowance, excellent pension, healthcare, performance based bonus and free lunch.
