The Role
This is an exciting opportunity for a client-focused and detail-orientated Residential Conveyancing Lawyer to join our clients’ highly regarded practice in the Sherborne area. Becoming part of a flourishing team which includes some of the firms’ partners, the successful Lawyer will manage a full and varied caseload of residential property transactions from instruction to post-completion. Matters will include: sales and purchases of freehold and leasehold properties; auction sales and purchases; remortgages; equity release and; residential landlord and tenant. In addition, the ideal Lawyer will participate in business development activities to ensure the further growth and success of the department.

The Candidate
You must be a qualified Solicitor, Legal Executive or Licensed Conveyancer with at least 5 years’ PQE gained within a reputable Residential Property department.
You must have excellent technical skills, ideally with a good working knowledge of CQS requirements.
You will be able to manage a full caseload with minimal supervision, meeting tight deadlines and maintaining high levels of accuracy.
A flair for business development would be highly advantageous.
You will be personable with first class communication skills, both written and verbal, across all levels.
