About the Job

Insurance plays a part in every aspect of a local authority’s functions, including driving council vehicles, planning major projects and events, schools, protection from liability claims and much more.  We are looking for a self-motivated individual who can take the lead in bringing best practice in claims handling across the three boroughs, as well as providing professional and timely insurance advice across the organisation. 

About You

You will be able to interpret and explain policy wordings and cover, understand the civil procedure rules and take an active part in the renewal and procurement of cover.  You will work with all services across the oneSource partners to determine the corporate insurance requirements and provide day-to-day advice and support to meet business objectives.

You will be capable of guiding staff on all aspects of claims handling and taking the lead on more complex claims.
