Executive Assistant - City Law firm, to £50k

Experienced Legal Executive Assistant required to support at Partner level within a prestigious city based law firm. The role will involve assisting him with the administration and management tasks.

This is a busy and demanding role involving a very high degree of organisation and anticipating the needs of the Partner. You will be used to working in a fast paced environment and able to cope with an ever changing workload. You will provide Executive Assistant support with diary/travel and meeting management, making decisions and constantly thinking on your feet. You will need to be a polished corporate Executive Assistant who remains clam under pressure. Highly motivated and displaying outstanding attention to detail, you have the ability to multitask with ease. It is essential that you are a strong team player with a positive, up-beat approach and have experience working at senior level, within legal.

As Executive Assistant your duties will be:

  • Preparation, collation and circulation of relevant papers for divisional and ExCom meetings
  • Summarise action points and implement follow up systems to ensure points are actioned
  • Manage diary appointments for Senior Partner and Heads of Groups and carry out all confidential typing associated with Senior Partner role
  • Liaison with Finance to ensure that appropriate financial information is available to allow analysis of utilisation, realisation and lockup so as to keep the Senior Partner informed about performance
  • Liaison with HR and Secretarial Support Manager to ensure effective resource allocation so that work is done at the appropriate cost whilst optimising the use of resources
  • Assist with preparation of papers for succession planning and annual promotion process working closing with HR and Finance
  • Be the first point of contact for the Partner when he is out of the office.
  • Maintain confidentiality at all times.
  • Monitor the Partner email inbox and deal with email correspondence on his behalf.
  • Monitor Partner incoming post and deal with this as appropriate on his behalf.
  • Draft correspondence and send on behalf of Senior Partner where required.
  • Screen all telephone calls, dealing with any requests for information on the Partner's behalf where required.
