Head of Commercial

A well established Law Firm in East Lancashire are seeking a Senior Commercial Property Solicitor to join them as Head of their Commercial Department.

As Head of Commercial your remit will cover the oversight of the Commercial Team, who typically act on Property, Company and Commercial, and Litigation. It is essential to the team that you are running your own Commercial Property cases - in addition to wider support of the team. A demonstrable track record of business development is key, as there will be strategic aims to continue to grow the Practice. You will also have input to compliance strategy and team management/training. Clients include local lenders, Property Investors, Housebuilders, and a number FMCG business drawn from the region.

This is an excellent opportunity for Solicitors with more than 5PQE to join a strong regional Firm. All rounders who have varied experience of the above disciplines will be well placed, but ultimately your current ability in Commercial Property will be key. Future prospects are strong including the option to shape future operational strategy.
