ROLE: Legal Secretary - Residential Conveyancing

SALARY: £17,000-£22,000

A leading law firm based in Oldham is seeking a Legal Secretary to join them within their Residential Conveyancing department on a permanent basis. The Legal Secretary role offers an excellent salary and career progression.

The Legal Secretary will assist a Solicitor within the Residential Conveyancing department with administration and some ad hoc duties.

The Legal Secretary role will be busy and varied. Typical duties will include:

* Document Production
* Photocopying, faxing and filing
* Digital Dictation
* Searches & forms
* Liaising with clients and third parties
* Diary Management
* Filing & Archiving
* Billing
* Occasional Meeting & Travel arrangements

To be considered for this position it is important that you have at least 10 years experience within a Residential Conveyancing department as either a Legal Secretary or Legal Assistant.

You should be a confident Legal Secretary and be able to work under minimal supervision in a fast paced environment. You must have excellent IT skills in relation to Microsoft Office and be able to type a minimum of 60 words per minute. Candidates must have excellent attention to detail and you should be able to communicate effectively with clients, colleagues and third parties.
