Locum Childcare Solicitor

Venn Group's specialist legal team are excited to be recruiting for a Locum Childcare Lawyer to join a Local Authority in the East Midlands. This contract is offered for an initial period of 3-6 months.

The ideal candidate will be a Solicitor, Barrister or Legal Executive with previous experience specialising in Childcare law, ideally from a Local Authority background. Experienced Lawyers with a Private Practice background with the relevant experience will also be considered.

Duties will include but are not limited to:
*Handling a busy caseload of Child Protection cases including interim care orders and emergency protection orders under the Public Law Outline
*Dealing with Care and Adoption proceedings
*Advocating in both the County Court and Family Proceedings Court for contested and final hearings

Our client offers a competitive daily rate of £259 per day.
