This is a fantastic opportunity to really make an impact and expand your skillset within a popular local authority. The successful Property Lawyer will need to hit the ground running and handle a busy caseload under minimal supervision relating to the following property matters;
- Acquisitions and disposal
- Lease lease renewal
- Academy conversions
- Conditional sale agreements
- Development agreements
- Security of Tenure
- State aid
The ideal property lawyer will come from a local authority background, although this is not essential as long as a good knowledge of public law is held.
Alongside this, the successful candidate will assist the principal solicitor with the development of the property and planning team, which will include planning the team's workload and coaching more junior members of the team.
We encourage interested applicants to apply immediately to be considered for short listing. Alternatively should you require further information or wish to discuss your suitability before applying please contact Kiran Purewal in our Manchester office for a confidential discussion.
