Assistant Commercial Solicitor

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Commercial Lawyer to join a national utilities company based in Cambridgeshire.

The company are seeking an individual with broad commercial experience, some exposure to construction contracts (particularly NEC) and experience in, or an inclination towards, the utilities sector.

Key responsibilities are likely to include:

• Drafting, negotiating and reviewing a wide range of commercial contracts including, but not limited to; purchase agreements, NDA’s, outsourcing agreements and maintenance agreements
• Advising on general legal issues such as; corporate matters, IPR and competition matters
• Manage and liaise with external counsel
• Developing relationships with clients
